Level Filters

Post by shmo » Fri Jun 21, 2013 3:36 pm

So, in the level menu, you can click on all kinds of options, but you can't mix and match. On more modern menus you can filter and combine all sorts of options. An example is, with the current menu system you can only look at levels you have not completed and very long levels separately. But, with filtering, you could combine the two and have very long levels you have not completed. Obviously, this probably won't happen but it would sure be great if it did.

I completely agree with you. Good idea!

Another great improvement for the X-Moto menu would be that you can create your own groups of lvls, besides the Favourite levels section.
For example, I would add:
* a group with lvls that I want to finish soon (e.g. lvls on which I died not far from the finish)
* a group containing all of pishi's lvls (they are the best!)
* a group of lvls that I only finished with the help of checkpoints (which are quite a lot ^^)
...
I'm also Felix is back! and Lefthander...

Not sure how feasible but I Randomize levels alot so it would be cool (in specific level packs) to click on Time: so to sorts the list, like clicking Size or Date in a file manager? [smilie=row2_23.gif]

I also think there should be more and better Level Filters !
Their should also be a possibility to play levels with the Difficulty and Quality you want.

This is now next up on my development list. Keep adding ideas to the list, and I'll add updates as I get things done.
