My xm isn't downloading highscores

Post by shmo » Mon Oct 28, 2013 12:18 pm

I don't know why but my xmoto isn't downloading the latest WRs. I'm really annoyed, I've reinstalled it, checked www and nothing seems to work. Any ideas?

My X-Moto also hasn't downloaded new highscore, since a few days.

(for example the highscore of you at Leg-Spinner 77 - Maximum Reach - Training 2 ^^)

So it's probably something wrong with the website then...

tumo seems to have figured out the problem. It's the last highscore on the x's one trick wrecker level. It has a weird character and it's messing my computer up...

Can someone please delete it? The other reason to delete it is that it's an inappropriate account name.

And because it's most likely cheated? Who validated that one anyways?
I will try to delete it, not sure how the name is written exactly, and that's what i need for unvalidation.

I didn't validate it... I hope you can figure it out because my computer not downloading the WRs is annoying.

I downloaded the WR file and opened it in a hex editor. The hex editor says that it's driven by "×FuCk" so there's a chance that you can remove it by copying and pasting that into the search. Additionally, I managed to load it into xm and It shows up as some other weird character that you can see in the attached screenshot.

Problem for me is that it's a UTF-8 character that my computer doesn't recognise.
